Eastleigh News Extra
The Eastleigh News Extra is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the town and Borough of Eastleigh in southern Hampshire, including Chandler’s Ford.
It was launched in June 2012 by Newsquest (Southern). Along with the Southampton News Extra and the Winchester News Extra, it’s a companion to their paid-for weekly tabloid the Hampshire Chronicle and to Southampton’s Southern Daily Echo. Its editorial offices are collocated with the Echo in the Southampton suburb of Redbridge.
Although most of the circulation is direct to homes, copies are also available by pickup from ASDA in Chandler’s Ford, and from Newsquest (Southern)’s offices in Redbridge, Eastleigh, Winchester and Romsey.
It comes out on Thursdays. An e-edition’s also available free on the Chronicle‘s website.
