Henley Standard

The Henley Standard is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the town of Henley-on-Thames and nearby towns and villages in South Oxfordshire, including Sonning Common, Twyford and Wargrave.

It was founded in 1885 as the Henley Free Press, but was renamed the Henley & South Oxfordshire Standard in 1892. It adopted its present name in 1956.

It’s published by the Higgs Group, an independent publishing, printing and office supplies company based in Henley.

It comes out on Fridays.
