All about the United Kingdom’s national, regional and local press

Glenrothes Gazette

The Glenrothes Gazette is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the former New Town of Glenrothes in central Fife and the neighbouring villages, including Markinch, Leslie, Thornton and Kinglassie.

It was founded in 1962. It’s published by Strachan & Livingston Ltd, part of the Johnston Press group of regional newspapers. The editorial offices were formerly in Glenrothes, but have now been centralised in Kirkcaldy along with Johnston’s other newspapers for the Kingdom of Fife, with which it also shares a website.

It comes out on Wednesdays.
