Uxbridge Leader (defunct)

The Uxbridge Leader was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the West London suburb of Uxbridge in the London Borough of Hillingdon.

It was part of a Leader series founded in 1981, although the first mention of Uxbridge in any of the series’s titles wasn’t until 1988 with the Uxbridge & Hillingdon Leader.

It was published by Trinity Mirror Southern. It was a companion to the paid-for weekly tabloid the Uxbridge Gazette and shared that paper’s editorial offices and website.

It came out on Wednesdays. There were two editions:

  • Uxbridge & Hayes
  • Uxbridge & Ruislip

It ceased publication some time in the second half of 2012.
