Chislehurst Times (defunct)

The Chislehurst Times was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper delivered to homes and distributed by hand in the town of Chislehurst in the north of the London Borough of Bromley.

It was launched in 2009 as a sub-edition of the Bromley Times, published by Kentish Times Newspapers, a branch of Archant‘s Archant London division. It shared that paper’s editorial offices (which moved in August 2011 from Sidcup to Ilford) and website.

It came out on Thursdays.

It appears to have ceased publication in mid-April 2011. Although Archant’s website still mentions a separate edition, archived e-editions don’t appear to vary in any way from the Bromley Times e-edition from 21 April 2011 onwards; and Archant London’s media pack from July 2011 doesn’t mention it either.
