Chronicle Xtra

The Chronicle Xtra is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper delivered to homes in the City of Chester and surrounding villages in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester, plus parts of Flintshire to the immediate west including Hawarden.

It’s published by Trinity Mirror Cheshire, part of Trinity Mirror‘s North West & Wales division, and is a companion to their paid-for title the Chester Chronicle, whose editorial offices in Chester it shares. The offices moved from the city centre to Sealand Road in the spring of 2012.

It was established in 1999 as the Chester Mail, but renamed the Midweek Chronicle in 2006; it adopted its existing title in 2009.

It has no website of its own; the link below is to the Chester Chronicle‘s site.

It comes out on Mondays.
