Burry Port Star (defunct)

The Burry Port Star was a sub-edition of the Llanelli Star sold in the town of Burry Port to the west of Llanelli in Carmarthenshire.

It was first published in 1909. By the time of its demise (in 2008?) its owners were Swansea-based South West Wales Media Ltd, a division of what was then the Daily Mail & General Trust‘s regional newspaper publishing division, Northcliffe Media. Like its parent newspaper, it was a tabloid and published weekly on Wednesdays.
