Ross-shire Journal

The Ross-shire Journal is a weekly broadsheet newspaper sold across the historic county of Ross and Cromarty, from Ullapool in the west to the Black Isle in the east and from Tain in the north to Beauly in the south.

It was founded in 1875 as the Ross-shire Journal and General Advertiser for the Northern Counties. It’s published by Inverness-based Scottish Provincial Press, an independent publishing house with several titles across the Far North and North-East. The editorial offices are in Dingwall.

It comes out on Fridays. An e-edition’s also available by paid subscription.
