Cumbernauld News

The Cumbernauld News is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the New Town of Cumbernauld and surrounding parts of North Lanarkshire.

It was founded in 1961. It’s published by Johnston (Falkirk) Ltd, a division of nationwide regional newspapers publishing group Johnston Press. The editorial offices are in Cumbernauld and shared with the News‘s considerably older and smaller twin title, the Kilsyth Chronicle, of which the News was originally an offshoot.

It comes out on Wednesdays.
