Chepstow Review (defunct)

The Chepstow Review was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper Chepstow, Caldicot and St Arvans in eastern Monmouthshire on the border with England.

It was founded in November 2011 as a companion title to Tindle Newspapers‘ freesheet Forest of Dean and Wye Valley Review, with which it shared offices and editorial staff in Lydney. It switched to freesheet publication a few months later, the Chepstow & Caldicot News – and then from April 2013 the Chepstow Beacon – taking over the reins as Tindle’s paid-for title for the area.

It came out on Wednesdays. Apparent initial plans for an e-edition seem to have been scrapped; the links on the website weren’t working as of June 2012, and had disappeared from the site by May 2013. Three months later the website itself had disappeared and was redirecting to the Beacon‘s site.
