West Lothian Herald & Post (defunct)

The West Lothian Herald & Post was a weekly freesheet newspaper in tabloid format distributed to households in Livingston and the surrounding area, including the towns of Bathgate, Broxburn, Linlithgow and West Calder.

It was founded in 1988. It was published by Scotsman Publications (the division of Johnston Press that produces their most famous title, The Scotsman) from offices in Linlithgow.

It used to form a three-title series together with the Herald & Post Fife and the Edinburgh & Lothian Herald & Post. However, Johnston Press closed the former in October 2010 and the latter a year later. The West Lothian Herald & Post joined them in July 2012; the website has now been withdrawn.

It came out on Fridays.
