Lanark & Carluke Advertiser
The Lanark & Carluke Advertiser is a local sub-edition of the South Lanarkshire weekly tabloid newspaper the Hamilton Advertiser, sold in the southern part of the county including the towns of Carluke, Lanark, Strathaven and Lesmahagow.
It’s published by Trinity Mirror‘s Media Scotland division (formerly Scottish & Universal Newspapers) from the Hamilton Advertiser‘s editorial offices in Hamilton.
It has no website of its own. Until August 2013 it used to piggyback on the South Lanarkshire news pages of the Hamilton Advertiser‘s website, but then lost even that, as Media Scotland merged all its newspapers’ websites into the Daily Record‘s. It now has to make do with coverage under the “Hamilton News” rubric.
It comes out on Thursdays.
