Helensburgh Advertiser

The Helensburgh Advertiser is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the town of Helensburgh on the north bank of the Firth of Clyde, surrounding parts of Argyll & Bute as far north as Arrochar and Tarbet, and Dumbarton and Alexandria in neighbouring West Dunbartonshire.

It was founded in 1957. It’s published by Clyde Weekly Press, a branch of the Dunfermline-based Romanes Media Group (formerly Clyde & Forth Press), from editorial offices in Clydebank which are shared with Clyde Weekly Press’s other titles: the Barrhead News, the Clydebank Post, the Dumbarton Reporter and the Paisley & Renfrewshire Gazette.

As with other Romanes titles, its website underwent a revamp in early 2013. Content remained free of charge, but readers were required to answer two Google survey questions a month to be allowed to access it.

It comes out on Thursdays.
