Carrick Times

The Carrick Times (or Carrickfergus Times) is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the East Antrim coastal town of Carrickfergus and the surrounding area, including the nearby seaside village of Whitehead.

It’s one of a three-title East Antrim Times series published by Morton Newspapers, a sub-division of Johnston Press‘s Northern Ireland division. (The others in the series are the Larne Times and the Newtownabbey Times.) It’s the smallest in circulation and newest of the series, having been established in 1983.

The editorial offices are in Larne; the former offices in Carrickfergus have now closed.

Although its publication dateline is Thursday, it actually comes out on Wednesdays.
