Ballymoney and Moyle Times

The Ballymoney and Moyle Times (or the Ballymoney Times for short) is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the town of Ballymoney and across the areas of the Ballymoney Borough Council and the Moyle District Council in northern County Antrim.

It was founded in 1990 under editor Lyle McMullen, who retired from the paper in 2012. It’s published by Morton Newspapers, a division of the UK-wide Johnston Press group of regional and local newspaper publishers, and forms part of a two-title series with the Coleraine Times (which is the lead title in the series, although the Ballymoney Times has the larger circulation). The editorial offices were in Ballymoney until 2013, but have since been centralised in Coleraine.

It comes out on Wednesdays. An e-edition’s also available by paid subscription.
