Aire Valley Advertiser

The Aire Valley Advertiser is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for Bingley, Shipley, Keighley, Saltaire and nearby villages in the Aire Valley in the City of Bradford in West Yorkshire.

It’s published by Newsquest (Yorkshire & North East) as a companion to their evening paid-for title for the area, the Telegraph & Argus, whose editorial offices (in Bradford) it shares.

It was launched in November 2012. It evolved from the The Bradford & District Advertiser, which itself had replaced two earlier freesheets including the Aire, Wharfe and Worth Valley Target in October 2010. Initially starting with a staggering eight different editions, by the end of 2011 these had been amalagamated to just two, covering Bradford itself and the Aire Valley. A facelift saw the Aire Valley Advertiser spun off as a title in its own right, leaving the Bradford edition to continue as the Bradford Advertiser.

It comes out on Fridays. An e-edition’s available on the website.
