Solihull Observer

The Solihull Observer is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the town of Solihull in the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull in the West Midlands, to the south-east of Birmingham.

It’s published by Redditch-based Bullivant Media, the successor to Observer Standard Newspapers, which went into official administration in March 2009. Bullivant Media publishes several free titles across the West Midlands region.

The editorial offices were in Solihull but have now moved to Leamington Spa.

The Observer has two local sub-editions: the Shirley Observer for Solihull’s southwestern suburbs and the Arden Observer for the rural districts to the south and east of the town. All three share the same website.

It comes out on Thursdays. An e-edition’s also available free by email and on the website.
