Ruislip & Eastcote Gazette

The Ruislip & Northwood Gazette is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the north-eastern part of the London Borough of Hillingdon, on the western edge of Greater London.

It’s a local edition of the Uxbridge Gazette series of newspapers, published by Trinity Mirror Southern. It shares a website and editorial offices in Uxbridge with the other newspapers in the series.

It was created in 1951 as a replacement for the earlier Ruislip & Northwood edition of the Middlesex Advertiser & County Gazette. In 2009 it split into two separate titles: the Ruislip & Eastcote Gazette (with a correspondingly smaller circulation area) and the Northwood & Rickmansworth Gazette, which also covered Rickmansworth and Hertfordshire’s Three Rivers district. However, at the end of June 2011 the two titles were re-merged and coverage of Rickmansworth and Three Rivers was dropped. In the following year Northwood was dropped again and the Ruislip & Eastcote Gazette re-emerged.

It comes out on Wednesdays.
