Paddington & Westminster Times (defunct)

The Paddington & Westminster Times was a weekly freesheet and paid-for tabloid newspaper distributed in the City of Westminster and the Paddington district in central London.

It was published by North West London Newspapers, part of the Archant Regional newspaper publishing division of the Archant media group.

It was founded in 1870 (although the issue numbers suggest it may have started as early as 1858) as the Paddington Times, a sub-edition of the Kilburn Times. In 2006 it became the Paddington & Westminster Times as part of a series led by the Kilburn Times and which also contained the Hammersmith & Kensington Times. All three titles were based in Swiss Cottage.

It didn’t have a website of its own; the URL given below redirects to the Brent & Kilburn Times‘s website (although for some time, rather strangely, it redirected to the Hampstead & Highgate Express‘s website).

It came out on Thursdays.

It closed in January 2011. Archived free e-editions are still available online, although you have to search for them.
