Marylebone Express (defunct)

The Marylebone Express was a local sub-edition of the Wood & Vale weekly tabloid newspaper, covering the Marylebone district in the northern part of the City of Westminster in central London.

It was published by Archant London, the capital’s branch of the Norwich-based Archant media group. It formed part of the Hampstead & Highgate Express (“Ham & High”) group of newspapers published from editorial offices in Swiss Cottage.

It came out on Fridays. The vast majority of copies were distributed free to homes in the area, but a small number were sold through the news trade. The paper was also available online as a free e-edition via the Ham&High website.

It was absorbed into the Wood & Vale in 2009. The URL now redirects to the website of the Wood & Vale‘s parent newspaper, the Ham & High.
