Nottingham & Long Eaton Recorder (defunct)

The Nottingham & Long Eaton Recorder was a local sub-edition of the Nottingham Recorder weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper, delivered to homes in the towns of Long Eaton, Stapleford and Beeston (and the satellite villages of Sandiacre, Toton and Chilwell) to the south-west of Nottingham.

It was launched in 2008 and published by the Nottingham Post Group Ltd, a branch of Northcliffe Media, which at the time was the regional newspaper publishing arm of the Daily Mail & General Trust. It shared editorial offices with the Nottingham Post.

It had no website of its own; the link given below is to Northcliffe’s thisisnottingham.co.uk portal website.

It came out on Thursdays.

The Recorder series ceased publication at the end of June 2011 as part of a “wider review” of Northcliffe Media’s portfolio.
