Corby Mercury & Citizen (defunct)

The Corby Mercury & Citizen was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the New Town of Corby in northern Northamptonshire.

It was published by Northamptonshire Newspapers, a division of the nationwide regional and local newspaper publishing group Johnston Press. The editorial offices were in Kettering and were collocated with Northamptonshire Newspapers’ evening title for the area, the Northants Evening Telegraph (which became the Northamptonshire Telegraph in May 2012).

It had no website of its own; the link below is to the Telegraph’s website.

It came out on Thursdays.

At the end of August 2008 it merged with the Wellingborough & Rushden Mercury & Citizen and the Kettering Mercury & Citizen to form the Northants Mercury & Citizen.
