Hoddesdon & Broxbourne Mercury

The Hoddesdon & Broxbourne Mercury is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold around the town of Hoddesdon and the smaller neighbouring town of Broxbourne in eastern Hertfordshire’s Broxbourne District.

It was founded in 1983 as the Hoddesdon Mercury and adopted its present title in 1986. It’s published by Herts & Essex Newspapers, part of the Iliffe News & Media group (and thus part of the Local World group since the end of 2012), as one of the four-title Hertfordshire Mercury series of newspapers. All four share the same editorial offices in Hertford, and the same website – the link below is to the Hoddesdon & Broxbourne news pages.

It comes out on Thursdays. All four editions of the Hertfordshire Mercury are also available as e-editions by paid subscription.
