Herald Express (Hemel Hempstead)

The Herald Express (formerly the Hemel Hempstead Herald Express) is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the town of Hemel Hempstead in western Hertfordshire and the Borough of Dacorum, including the towns of Berkhamstead, Tring and Kings Langley.

It was launched in 1995 and is published by Premier Newspapers Ltd, a branch of nationwide group of regional newspaper publishers Johnston Press. It’s a companion to the paid-for weekly tabloid the Hemel Hempstead Gazette and shares that newspaper’s website and editorial offices (which were in Hemel Hempstead until 2013, but by January 2014 had moved to Aylesbury).

It has no connection with Local World‘s weekly tabloid of the same name sold in South Devon.

It comes out on Fridays. An e-edition’s now available free online.
