Frinton & Walton Gazette

The Frinton Gazette (in full, the Frinton & Walton Gazette) is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold at the eastern end of the Tendring peninsula in Essex, taking in the towns of Frinton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze and the nearby villages.

It originated from the Clacton Times and East Essex Gazette, founded in 1913 and subsequently published as simply the East Essex Gazette from 1939 onwards (barring two years from 1946 to 1948, when it reverted to its original title). It first appeared in 1986.

It’s published by Newsquest (Essex) from editorial offices in Clacton-on-Sea which it shares with its parent newspaper, the Clacton Gazette. Both titles share a common website.

It comes out on Thursdays.
