Wrexham Chronicle (defunct)
The Wrexham Chronicle was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the town of Wrexham (Wrecsam) and surrounding parts of North East Wales to a radius of about eight miles, including the neighbouring town of Rhosllanerchrugog and several smaller villages.
It was launched by Trinity Mirror in July 2008 to replace the Wrexham Mail and the Wrexham BuySell. However, it lasted for only 15 months before being closed as a cost-cutting measure on 1 October 2009.
