The Chepstow Review
is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper Chepstow, Caldicot and St Arvans in eastern Monmouthshire
on the border with England.
It was founded in November 2011 as a companion title to Tindle Newspapers‘ freesheet Forest of Dean and Wye Valley Review, with which it shares offices and editorial staff in Lydney. It switched to freesheet publication a few months later, the Chepstow & Caldicot News – and then from April 2013 the Chepstow Beacon – taking over the reins as Tindle’s paid-for title for the area.
It comes out on Wednesdays. Apparent initial plans for an e-edition may have been scrapped; the links on the website weren’t working as of June 2012, and had disappeared from the site by May 2013.
