Northern Scot Midweek Extra

The Northern Scot Midweek Extra is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the larger settlements in the Moray council area in the North East of Scotland, including the city of Elgin and the towns of Forres, Keith and Lossiemouth.

It was founded in 1980 by the Moray & Nairn Newspaper Company (a subsidiary of Scottish Provincial Press Ltd) as a companion to their paid-for weekly broadsheet for Morayshire, The Northern Scot, with which it shares editorial offices in Elgin and a website.

It comes out on Wednesdays.
