North Lanarkshire Herald (defunct)

The North Lanarkshire Herald was a local sub-edition of the East Dunbartonshire weekly tabloid newspaper the Kirkintilloch Herald, sold in those parts of the former Strathclyde Region district of Strathkelvin that now fall in the North Lanarkshire council area, around Moodiesburn, Chryston and Muirhead.

Like its parent newspaper, it was published by Johnston (Falkirk), the original company behind UK-wide local newspaper group Johnston Press from offices in Kirkintilloch, and came out on Wednesdays.

It had no website of its own; its online presence was through the Kirkintilloch Herald’s website.

It ceased publication in the first half of 2011.
