Motherwell Times
The Motherwell Times is a weekly tabloid newspaper for the town of Motherwell in North Lanarkshire, together with surrounding smaller towns and villages in the area such as Newarthill and Holytown.
It’s published by Johnston (Falkirk) Ltd, part of the larger Johnston Press newspaper publishing concern. The editorial offices are in Motherwell.
Its sister newspaper websites in the Johnston Press network are the Bellshill Speaker (which is technically a local edition of the Motherwell Times, although it has its own office and its own website) and the Lanark Gazette. There’s also an associated weekly freesheet, the North Lanarkshire Extra.
It comes out on Thursdays.
