Hawick News

The Hawick News (whose full name is the Hawick News and Scottish Border Chronicle) is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the town of Hawick in Teviotdale in the Scottish Borders, and in nearby towns and villages including Selkirk, Jedburgh and Langholm.

It was founded in 1881 as The Hawick News and Border Chronicle. It added Scottish to the title in 1953.

It’s published by the Tweeddale Press Group, based in Berwick-upon-Tweed and part of the Johnston Press nationwide group of local and regional newspapers. The editorial offices are in Hawick.

It comes out on Fridays.
