Galloway Gazette
The Galloway Gazette – in full, the Galloway Gazette & Stranraer News – is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in two editions in the former Dumfries and Galloway region, primarily in Wigtownshire and Kirkcudbrightshire.
It’s published by Galloway Gazette Ltd, a division of nationwide publishers of regional and local newspapers Johnston Press. The editorial offices are in Newton Stewart.
There are two editions:
- Machars and Stewartry – covering Newton Stewart itself as well as Wigtown, Whithorn, Kirkcudbright, Castle Douglas and Dalbeattie
- Stranraer and the Rhins – for the West of the circulation area, including Cairnryan and Portpatrick as well as the Rhins peninsula
Both come out on Fridays.
