All about the United Kingdom’s national, regional and local press

The Fraserburgh Herald

The Fraserburgh Herald is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in and around the town of Fraserburgh (“The Broch”) in the Banff & Buchan district in the north-eastern corner of Aberdeenshire.

It was founded in 1884 as The Fraserburgh Herald and Northern Counties Advertiser.

It’s published by Angus County Press, part of the UK-wide Johnston Press group of regional and local newspapers, who bought it along with all of the Scottish titles hitherto owned by Archant in 2007. The editorial offices are in Fraserburgh.

It comes out on Thursdays.
