East Lothian Courier

The East Lothian Courier is a weekly tabloid sold throughout the council area of East Lothian, including the towns of Haddington, Cockenzie & Port Seton, Dunbar, Musselburgh, North Berwick and Prestonpans.

It was founded in 1859 (as The Haddingtonshire Courier; it changed title in 1971) and thus celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2009. Until 2004 it was owned and published by the family firm of D.J. Croal; it was then taken over by current publishers Forth Weekly Press, part of the Romanes Media Group (formerly the family-owned company Clyde & Forth Press). The editorial offices remained in Haddington.

It comes out on Thursdays.
