Sunday Mirror
The Sunday Mirror was founded in 1915 as the Sunday Pictorial, but took its present name in 1963.
Like its namesake the Daily Mirror, it’s a left-wing populist paper with little in the way of hard news. Oddly, it’s owned by the same publisher (currently Trinity Mirror Group) as The People, an almost identical paper in every way, and has been for several years.
