Northern Constitution
The Northern Constitution is a series of three weekly tabloid newspapers sold in and around the towns of Coleraine, Limavady and Magherafelt in County Londonderry, as well as rural parts of Co. Derry and neighbouring parts of Co. Antrim.
It’s published by Lord Kilclooney’s (former Ulster Unionist MP John Taylor’s) Alpha Newspaper Group, which is based in Dungannon. The main office for the series is in Limavady.
Founded in 1844, it claims to be one of Northern Ireland’s oldest and most respected titles, popular with families and farmers.
It’s published on Thursdays. An e-edition (by paid subscription) is also available.
The three editions each have their own sub-domain within the same website. (As of 5 January 2012 only the Limavady site was working.)
