Derry News
The Derry News is a tabloid, and one of those rare newspapers that’s published twice-weekly. It’s sold in and around the town of Derry in County Londonderry.
It was founded in February 2001. It’s published by Derry News Ltd, based in Derry. It changed hands in 2006 when a consortium led by the Irish News and including Letterkenny-based River Media bought the title from the McCarroll family.
There’s a partner weekly title for the county, the County Derry Post.
It comes out on Mondays and Thursdays. An e-edition’s available on the website.
