Derry Journal
The Derry Journal is a twice-weekly tabloid newspaper published on Tuesdays and Fridays.
It originally started publication in 1772 as the Londonderry Journal. It changed name in 1880 to reflect its moderate Nationalist stance.
It’s sold mainly in the County Londonderry and County Donegal areas. It briefly had a sister paper in Coleraine, the Coleraine Journal.
It’s owned by Local Press Ltd, part of Johnston Press.
