The Press
The Press is a daily tabloid newspaper for York, North Yorkshire and much of East Yorkshire, reaching as far afield as Harrogate, Thirsk and Pickering, as well as a good deal of the East Yorkshire coast.
It’s published by Newsquest (York). It has two editions: the main one and another for Selby.
It used to be known as the Evening Press from its first publication in 1882 until 2004, when it switched to morning publication. It changed from broadsheet to tabloid format at the same time.
