Wharfedale & Airedale Observer (defunct)
The Wharfedale & Airedale Observer was a weekly broadsheet newspaper published on Thursdays and covering a cluster of West Yorkshire towns and villages north of Bradford and Leeds, around Otley, Guiseley and Yeadon.
It was published by Wharfedale Newspapers, a branch of Newsquest (Bradford). The editorial offices were in Ilkley and were shared with the Ilkley Gazette.
It came out on Thursdays.
In February 2011 it merged with the Ilkley Gazette to form the Ilkley, Wharfedale & Aireborough Gazette & Observer.
