All about the United Kingdom’s national, regional and local press

The Bradfordian

The Bradfordian is a fortnightly freesheet tabloid delivered free to 55,000 homes and businesses in the City of Bradford in West Yorkshire.

It was launched in September 2013 with the aim of promoting positive news in Bradford and thus of encouraging the betterment of the city. It claims to be the UK’s first “good news only” regional newspaper (its strapline is “The good news paper”), although the publishers of the Wigan Courier appear to have come up with a very similar concept 15 years earlier (strapline: “Wigan’s Good News Paper”).

It’s published by independent publishers Ware Publishing from offices in Bradford‘s Little Germany.

E-editions of the current and archived issues are available free via the website.
