Bridlington Gazette & Herald (defunct)
The Bridlington Gazette & Herald (formerly the Bridlington Gazette & Herald incorporating the Bridlington Leader) was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the town of Bridlington and neighbouring villages in the Bridlington Bay and Flamborough Head area at the north-eastern tip of the East Riding of Yorkshire.
It was published by Scarborough-based Yorkshire Regional Newspapers, part of the nationwide group of regional newspaper publishers Johnston Press’s North division, as a companion to YRN’s paid title for the area, the Bridlington Free Press. It shared the Free Press‘s editorial offices and website.
It came out on Tuesdays.
It ceased publication in February 2011 to enable staff to concentrate on producing the Free Press.
