Stratford Observer
The Stratford Observer is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper delivered to homes around the Warwickshire town of Stratford-upon-Avon and nearby Henley-in-Arden.
It’s published by Redditch-based Bullivant Media, founded by Chris and Pat Bullivant as the successor to Observer Standard Newspapers, their original company established in 1989. OSN was responsible for 18 weekly freesheets, most of them distributed in Warwickshire, Worcestershire or the former West Midlands Metropolitan County, but went into administration in March 2009; the Bullivants were able to rescue most of their titles from closing.
The editorial offices are in Leamington Spa and shared with several other Bullivant titles for southern Warwickshire. There’s also a local office for advertising sales in Stratford itself.
The Observer comes out on Thursdays. An e-edition’s also available free on the website.
