Stone Post (defunct)

The Stone Post was a local sub-edition of the weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper the Stafford Post, and covered the town of Stone in Staffordshire and its surrounding villages (broadly, the north-eastern quarter of the Stafford Post series’s circulation area).

It was published by Trinity Mirror Midlands. It had neither editorial offices nor a website of its own, relying for both on the Stafford Post. (The offices were in Stafford.)

It came out on Thursdays.

Trinity Mirror Midlands announced on 14 November 2011 that the Stafford Post series would be closed as part of an efficiency savings process. The URL below now redirects to the Birmingham Mail‘s website.
