The Stafford Express & Star is a weekly freesheet edition of the Wolverhampton-based evening paid-for tabloid newspaper the Express & Star, delivered to homes in the county town of Stafford.
It’s published by Express & Star Ltd, a division of Midland News Association. The editorial offices are in Wolverhampton.
It’s something of an anomaly in Express & Star Ltd’s portfolio. The Express & Star has a Chronicle series of weekly freesheet companions elsewhere. Indeed, there was one for the Mid Staffordshire area, the Stafford & Stone Chronicle, but that ceased publication in 2010. The Stafford Express & Star has a much smaller geographical footprint.

It comes out on Wednesdays. The Express & Star is on sale in the area during the rest of the week.
