Evesham Observer

The Evesham Observer is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed to homes in and around the town of Evesham in south-eastern Worcestershire, the neighbouring town of Pershore and several small towns in the nearby Cotswolds, including Broadway in Worcestershire, Bourton-on-the-Water, Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold in Gloucestershire, and Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire.

It was launched in 2001 and is published by Bullivant Media, a free newspaper group that rose in 2009 out of the ashes of the earlier Observer Standard Newspapers; OSN was founded in 1989 but went into administration in March 2009. The editorial offices in Evesham closed and are now collocated with the Redditch Standard‘s offices in Redditch, while the advertising sales offices are with the Leamington Observer in Leamington Spa.

There’s a sub-edition for Pershore, the Pershore Observer, which shares the same website.

It comes out on Wednesdays. There’s also a free e-edition on the website.
