Droitwich Standard

The Droitwich Standard is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper delivered to homes in the town of Droitwich Spa and nearby villages in northern central Worcestershire.

It was founded in 2001 and is published by Bullivant Media Ltd, an independent magazine and freesheet newspaper publishing company originally established in 1989 as Observer Standard Newspapers by Chris and Pat Bullivant. OSN went into administration in March 2009; the company’s titles were taken over by the new company.

The editorial offices are in Bromsgrove and are shared with the Standard‘s sister title, the Bromsgrove Standard.

It comes out on Fridays. An e-edition’s also available free on the website, which received a facelift in 2011.
