Coventry Telegraph
The Coventry Telegraph is a daily tabloid newspaper for the city and metropolitan borough of Coventry in the West Midlands, and for large parts of Warwickshire including the town of Nuneaton.
It was founded in 1891 as the Coventry Evening Telegraph, but changed its name in October 2006 to reflect the switch made at that time from evening to morning publication.
It’s published by Coventry Newspapers Ltd, a division of Trinity Mirror.
There are three geographical editions: the City edition for Coventry itself, plus sub-editions for Nuneaton and for elsewhere in Warwickshire. There’s also a Midweek Pink edition focusing on sports.
Each day has at least one special feature supplement:
- Monday: Your Life – health, education, family and business
- Tuesday: Junior sports
- Wednesday: Property
- Thursday: Jobs
- Friday: What’s on – entertainment listings; Drivetime – motoring and car ads
- Saturday: Weekend – leisure; Game On – sport
