Bedworth Observer (defunct)
The Bedworth Observer was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper delivered to homes in and around Bedworth the Borough of Nuneaton & Bedworth in northern Warwickshire.
It was a sub-edition of the Nuneaton Observer, part of the Redditch-based Observer Standard News group of freesheets, founded by Chris and Pat Bullivant in 1989. The editorial offices were in Nuneaton and shared with the Nuneaton News, the local paid evening tabloid owned by Staffordshire Newspapers.
In 2008 an agreement was reached with Staffordshire Newspapers whereby the Nuneaton News (at that time named the Heartland Evening News) contributed stories to the Observer.
It came out on Wednesdays.
The Nuneaton Observer and the Bedworth Observer ceased publication under those titles in January 2009 and were replaced by a free edition of the Nuneaton News.
