Wimborne Avon Advertiser

The Wimborne Advertiser (or, to give it its full title, the Wimborne & Ferndown Avon Advertiser) is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed to homes in the Dorset towns of Wimborne Minster, Ferndown, West Moors and nearby villages.

It’s published by Newsquest (Southern) as part of its Avon Advertiser series; it first appeared as a separate edition in 1983. (The other two titles in the series are the Salisbury & Amesbury Avon Advertiser and the Ringwood, Verwood & Fordingbridge Avon Advertiser.) Unlike the other titles, though, it’s a companion to the Bournemouth-based Daily Echo and shares that newspaper’s website and editorial offices.

It’s published on Wednesdays. It has no website of its own; the link below is to the Echo‘s website, where a free e-edition can be found.
